WELCOME

After searching the web for a blog that suited my passion for Christ and acceptance of others beliefs--I came up empty handed. Yes. For all their talk, most Christians it seems, would rather chew your ear off about the Lord and all His wonderful blessings but not spare a second of their time listening to or answering an unbeliever's questions.
This just didn't sit well with me.
After all, wasn't it Christ himself who said we should do unto others and all that glorious stuff?
So where is that brotherly love? Where is the compassion? Where is the understanding we must seek from the One who shows mercy on us (yes us! no one is righteous) every time we ask for it?
I couldn't seem to find it.
So I decided then and there that I would remedy the situation by creating my own blog.
Here everyone is welcome.
Whether you are a believer or not. If you grew up in church or grew up sneaking out of it. Tried religion only to realize you don't believe in any higher authority than yourself. Or if you simply want some answers because you have no idea what it means to have faith or religion or whatever else those people in the pews have.
I know a lot of you who read this won't even be believers of...anything.
That's just fine!
I do believe that there is only one true God and that he sent his son Jesus to earth as a man. The purpose? Well, we were bad. Still are. But it was only the sacrifice of his son Jesus that allows us to be redeemed in God's eyes. Otherwise we are knda screwed.
Starting in January 2011 I will post a blog/devotional up every Sunday and Wednesday.
Please be warned that I have a quirky way of telling people things. I'm not going to speak like the most articulate person. I'm not going to even try and speak like a Reverend. I won't pound my fists or flail my arms about as I scream scripture verses at the top of my lungs. I won't judge you if you think I'm wrong or insane or completely unqualified to be doing this.
I won't even ask you to close your eyes to pray.
But I will tell you the truth.
And hopefully, this blog will help you grow in your faith. Or fnd it.
God Bless.
